Stage 2 Syllabus Excursion

A program designed for Grade 4 Students

 

We are excited to be able to offer a new program for Grade 4 Students (Stage 2) with a unique experience on a 3 day excursion. Below is an outline of the syllabus coverage.


 

Lutanda's desire is to partner with Schools and design programs aimed at your objectives.  Below is an example of a curriculum structure that we can program for you.

 

HSIE- Stage 2


Outcomes
CCS2.1 Describes events and actions related to British Colonisation and assesses changes and consequences
ENS2.6 Describes people’s interaction with environments and identifies responsible ways of interacting with environments
ENS2.5 Describes places in the local area and other parts of Australia and explains their significance
Unit description:  How did Early Exploration Impact on that Settlement of Australia? – Exploration of Australia beyond 1788 and Inland Explorers of Australia

 

PDHPE- Stage 2


Skills Outcomes
Communicating: COS2.1 Uses a variety of ways to communicate with and within groups.
Decision Making: DMS2.2 Makes decisions as an individual and as a group member.
Interacting: INS2.3 Makes positive contributions in group activities.
Moving: MOS2.4 Displays a focus on quality of movement in applying movement skills to a variety of familiar and new situations.
Problem Solving: PSS2.5 Utilises a range of problem-solving strategies.

 

Arts (Drama)- Stage 2


Outcomes
Making: DRAS2.1 Takes on and sustains roles in a variety of drama forms to express meaning in a wide range of imagined situations.
DRAS2.2 Builds the action of the drama by using the elements of drama, movement and voice skills.
Performing: DRAS2.3 Sequences the action of the drama to create meaning for an audience.
Appreciating: DRAS2.4 Responds to, and interprets drama experiences and performances.
