Lutanda Community Camps

Our heart is to serve the community and particularly those at risk and in need. Every year we do this by running respite camps for people living with a wide range of disabilities, foster children and the elderly.

These camps rely on the loving servant heart of volunteers who are willing to provide an experience for those who many forget about. These camps are fun, interactive and life changing for both camp leaders, campers and carers.

Camp Jono has been thoroughly enjoyed by many campers for many years. Founded in 1980, children and youth who attend this camp have had a variety of disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, Ataxia, and Autism.

Based on the success of Camp Jono, Camp David was created to give the same unique camping experience for adults with intellectual disabilities. This camp is held four times a year and has been a blessing, not just to the campers, but also to the carers.

Camp Endeavour is an exciting camping experience designed for youths and young adults with predominately physical disabilities.

Festival Camp is a relaxing retreat that offers fellowship, fun and fabulous teaching from God's Word. Meet new friends, form new bonds and enjoy the picturesque surrounds while staying at Lutanda's Mt Victoria or Yarramundi centres.

Foster Camps are life-changing experiences for children who have not had the best start to their lives.
